Driven by personal curiosity, I collected and analyzed data on 230 English animal .com domain names, including singular and plural forms, to assess their usage and potential. Out of these, 111 are actively used by businesses or individuals, while 61 are listed for sale—disproportionately represented by plural forms (42) against singular (19). The remaining 48 domains are essentially dormant, being either parked, unreachable, under construction, broken, or redirected. What stands out is that many of the top animal terms attract millions of monthly Google searches combined with low competition, highlighting their strong brandability and untapped value across industries.
